Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai presents flowers to typical patriotic emulators |
The event saw the presence of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, who is also Head of the province’s Reward and Emulation Council, representatives of Central Emulation and Reward Council and leaders of the provinces of Tien Giang, Long An, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and HCM city, among others
At the ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 31 collectives, 32 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation campaign. Lac Hong university’s Robocon teams who win the prizes at Vietnam Robocon 2014 are also honored on this occasion.
Besides, Central Emulation and Reward Council presented the “For Emulation and Reward cause” insignias to five individuals.
Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of the provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the great, practical and effective contributions of patriotic emulators. Phuc took this occasion to call on every people to study and follow the examples of patriotic emulators and in order to join hands with each other to develop the nation towards socialism.
