(ĐN)- Over the past time, Xuan Loc district-based Xuan Dinh commune’s Study Promotion Association launched a program to raise money for study encouragement fund by mobilizing locals to put money in their clay pigs.
Accordingly, the program received active supports from local officials, veterans and individuals and raised VND265 million.
All the proceeds from the clay pigs are used to award scholarships and help poor students continue their studies.
On this occasion, the association honored two collectives and individuals for their contributions to the program and called on more people to participate in the fundraising campaign.
