They are on charges of causing public disorder and appropriating assets during demonstrations by workers and local people to protest China’s illegal action of placing its oil rig in Vietnam’s waters.
In addition, the police also imposed administrative penalties on other 173 people.
Law enforcement agencies in Dong Nai are prompt to complete their investigation into recent riots to bring the defendants to trial.
