(ĐN)- A series of whirlwinds hit Tan Phu and Thong Nhat districts on April 25, causing severe property damage.
Tan Phu district’s Nam Cat Tien commune reported damages worth hundreds of millions of dong, with five houses having roof blown off and three tonnes of durian destroyed.
The local authorities have dispatched officials to the area to help in efforts to overcome the consequences.
Meanwhile in Thong Nhat district, big rains and strong winds late April 25 blew off the roofs of three houses and destroyed 130 rubber trees that are four years old in Xuan Thien commune.
