(ĐN)- To mark 39th anniversary of the National Liberation Day (April 30), Long Khanh town and Xuan Loc district started their public relations tasks on April 26.
At Phu Binh ward in Long Khanh town, more than 300 officials, soldiers and policemen attended a meeting to deploy public relations work in 2014.
After the meeting, the participants joined hands with local residents to collect garbage and clean the streets.
On the same day, a ceremony was also held in Xuan Thanh commune, Xuan Loc district to deploy public relations tasks.
At the ceremony, the commune People’s Committee handed over money to build 6 charity houses.
On this occasion, more than VND474 million has been raised to provide free medical check-ups and medicines, offer 17 saving books, give 4 cows and 4 pigs, present 30 scholarships and 20 bicycles to needy beneficiaries
In addition, the commune-based armed force units and young people will cooperated with local people to upgrade rural roads, collect garbage at public places, dredge canals and culverts, and organize arts performance.
