(ĐN)- In the morning of April, the 300-member delegation led by Colonel and Political Commissar of Dong Nai Military Headquarters Duong Hoa Hiep started their public relations tasks and implemented the movement “Army joining hands in building new rural areas” in Bien Hoa city’s Hiep Hoa commune.

Three-day event is one of activities to mark the 39th anniversary of the National Liberation Day (April 30) and the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory.
During the event, soldiers helped locals collect garbage at public places, upgrade gratitude house and rural roads.

On this occasion, the delegation also provided free medical check-ups and medicine to 200 policy beneficiaries and single elderly people, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, families of martyrs and war invalids, households with difficult circumstances, gave an arts performance and participated in cultural and sport exchanges with local young people.
