(ĐN) – Vietnam Home Credit has recently set up a VND1 billion scholarship fund for workers’ children.
The fund, named Bup Tren Canh (Blossoming Buds), is expected to award 1,000 scholarships worth VND1 million each for kids (aged from six months to five years old) whose parents work at industrial parks and export and processing zones in Dong Nai, Binh Duong and HCM City.
Accordingly, 325 kids in Dong Nai will receive scholarships in April and May.
As part of the fund, organizers will hold talks or workshops on how to take care of children, to understand them and to learn whether children are being harmed with the participation of workers and education experts.
