Seven inspection teams set up by Dong Nai Province's Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Department this month will examine measures against work place accidents, including fires and explosions at businesses and factories in the province.
Seven inspection teams set up by Dong Nai Province's Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Department this month will examine measures against work place accidents, including fires and explosions at businesses and factories in the province.
The inspection will target high risk businesses and businesses which have been fined several times during the last year for violations in labour safety and fire prevention. If these businesses are found to have violated the law again, they will be shut down, according to the department.
Dong Nai is among the provinces with highest work-related accidents in the country. Last year, 1,690 work accidents in the province killed 26 people and injured 1,691 others.
