Big C and Unilever Vietnam will carry out a number of community events to support poor residents nationwide to welcome Tet from now until January 26.
The organizers have donated 2,700 gifts worth VND650 million to needy people in places such as HCMC, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Dalat, Danang, Hue, Nghe An and Ninh Binh.
Each present worth VND250,000 includes rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, soap and confectionary.
This is the sixth year that Big C and its partners have conducted such an event with over 10,000 gifts donated to the poor.
