(ĐN)- Nhon Trach district Study Promotion Association has recently granted study encouragement scholarships worth VND140 million to 181 studious poor students across the district.
The scholarships worth VND600,000-1 million each were funded by Vedan Vietnam company and other sponsors in Ho Chi Minh city.
In 2013, Xuan Loc district Study Promotion Association mobilized over VND6 billion to the Study Encouragement Fund, fulfilling 120% of the yearly target.
In this period, the association presented 4 study encouragement houses worth more than VND220 million, granted over 27,000 scholarships and awarded studious poor students totaling VND5 billion.
