(ĐN)- Dong Nai province's Fatherland Front Committee on November 18 held a ceremony to celebrate the 83 rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front (VNUF).

The event was attended by Head of Commission for Communications and Education Huynh Van Toi, Chairman Huynh Tan Kiet of the provincial Labor Union and Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of the provincial People’s Committee.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen Cong Ngon of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee reviewed the VNUF’s construction, development and getting mature over the past 83 years.
He also informed the achievements made by the province's Fatherland Front Committee since the beginning this year.
Particularly, “Day for the Poor” campaign has raised nearly VND300 billion to help the poor to escape poverty. The Front Committee along with departments, agencies and localities have handed over 344 charity houses worth VND11 billion to poor households across the province.
