A tropical low pressure system has just appeared in the Pacific Ocean which is now moving towards the East Sea and later will turn into a new storm, announced the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.

On the afternoon of November 12, the tropical low pressure system was located on the southern Mindanao Island of the Philippines at longitude 8.4 degrees north and latitude 125.5 degrees east. Within the next 24 hours, the low pressure system will move fast towards west northwest at 25 kilometers per hour.

Bui Minh Tang, Director of the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center, said that the low pressure system is forecast to strengthen into a storm.

He added that the low pressure system will continue to move fast and make landfall in Vietnam on November 14-15. According to the weather forecast, the low pressure system will turn into a new storm with an uncertain direction.
