Compared with the same period in July, cases of traffic accident increased by 13, the death rose by 15 and the injured increased by 9.
The province has recorded the highest deaths caused by traffic accidents in September, increased 2.4 fold and 1.5 fold compared with those in April and August, respectively.
The highest increase of cases of traffic accident, deaths and injuries saw in Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc and Cam My districts
Serious road accidents caused mainly by neglectful driving have been blamed for the increase in traffic fatalities.
