The VND665 billion line has a total length of 66 kilometres passing through Long Thanh, Cam My, Thong Nhat, Trang Bom and Vinh Cuu districts in Dong Nai and Vung Tau province’s Tan Thanh district.
The 500 kV Song May-Phu My transmission line has been funded by the World Bank, the Vietnam Development Bank and the EVNNPT.
The project will help strengthen the power supply in southern provinces along with the Song May-Tan Dinh transmission line.
