(ĐN)- Since last October, Dong Nai provincial Farmers' Association has admitted more than 11,200 new members, bringing its total members to over 216,700.

The figure was released at the ceremony held on October 14 to mark the 83rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association.
Since the beginning of this year, nearly 140,000 local farmer households have registered to participate in the emulation movements of good production and business.
The association also mobilized thousands of seedlings and breeding animals from their members to help over 6.600 poor farmer households develop production and stabilize their life.
At the ceremony, the association awarded campaign medals to 80 farmers for their contributions to the association’s development.
