Over the last five years, the association has made many efforts to help its members to overcome difficulties and stabilize life
Particularly, the association set up a Blind massage center to create stable jobs for its 8 members, provided loans totaling VND331 million to 61 members.
Presently, many members are able to use braille and computers to search information, overcome their complex and actively participate in social activities.
In the next term, the association will continue efforts to improve the living standard of its members.
The congress elected a 3-member executive committee for the 2013-2018 term. Mr. Truong Van Hiem was re-elected Chairman of Nhon Trach district Blind People’s Association.
On this occasion, 9 individuals were awarded campaign medals “For the happiness of blind people”
