The contest, which was launched in the 2010-2011 school year by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), aims to boost IT application for teaching and learning in high school, to set up an English online playing ground for students in grades of 3 to 12, and to create conditions for them to get access to and use the Internet as a studying tool, as well as to create a favorable atmosphere for them to exchange their experiences.

Students can take part in the contest by logging on to www.ioe.com and following instructions. Apart from official exams at school, district, provincial and national levels (only for 5th and 9th grade), there are 26 self-study rounds for them. They will know their results right after finishing their exams.
So far, Dong Nai has over 35,000 students taking part in the contest.
