Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc attended the ceremony.
The university has two campuses with the total covered area of 18 ha and it is now home to 300 teachers and staffs, and more than 12,000 students.
In the new school year, the college enrolled 2,500 new students and admitted 30 Laos students via the training cooperation between Dong Nai and Champasak provinces.
At the ceremony, 35 excellent students were honored and 25 scholarships worth VND 1.2 million each were presented to the outstanding students.
On this occasion, local businesses donated VND93 million to the university’s Study Encouragement Fund to support studious poor students.
