In the letter, the leaders praised the great efforts of the provincial Elderly People Association over the past years and acknowledged contributions made by the elderly to the province's socio-economic, cultural and educational development.
On this occasion, Tan Phu district’s Elderly People Association on September 30 sent four delegations to visit and present gifts worth VND400,000 each to nearly 90 elderly people aged 90.
Earlier, Nhon Trach district’s Elderly People Association also visited and presented gifts worth VND400,000 each from the provincial association to 96 elderly people. The total cost of the program was VND380 million.
