Provincial leaders cheer teachers and students

The province now has 812 schools, 12 schools higher than the previous year and the number of enrolled students increases 15.4% over the 2012-2013 school year. In this new school year, 991 new teachers is recruited, bringing the total number of  teachers and staff working in the education sector to over 32,000.

On this occasion, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh joined the teaching staff and more than 1,350 students of Huynh Van Nghe school in Vinh Cuu district in the opening ceremony of the new school year.

At the ceremony, Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training Le Minh Hoang read the letter of the province’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front to teachers, students, their parents and staff working in the education sector on the occasion of the new academic year.

Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh presented 3 scholarships worth VND5 million each to outstanding poor students of the school.

The same day, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of the provincial People’s Committee attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at Ngo Quyen High School in Bien Hoa city.

The school is home to 1,250 students. In the 2012-2013 academic year, the school has a high graduation rate of 100%.On this occasion, Sacombank offered 10 scholarships worth VND1 million each to outstanding poor students of the school.

Chairman Tran Van Tu of the provincial People’s Council also attended the opening of the new school year at Nguyen Huu Canh High School in Bien Hoa city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Tran Van Tu praised the great efforts made by teachers and students in the last academic year and expressed his hope that the school’s teachers and students would made further efforts to achieve good results in teaching and learning.

Attending the new school year opening ceremony of Tran Bien High School in Bien Hoa city was Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc.

The school has 100% students passing graduation exam in this school year. In the last school year, more than 340/567 of its students passed the university entrance exams.

On the same day, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Huynh Van Toi attended the opening ceremony of the province’s boarding school for ethnic minorities in Trang Bom district.

In the new school year, the school has enrolled 132 new students of ethnic minorities, bringing the total number of students up to 366.

An opening ceremony of the new school year was also held at Luong The Vinh High School in Bien Hoa city with the attention of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri presented 3 scholarships worth VND1 million each to outstanding students who have high scores in the university-enter exam.

Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh of the  provincial People’s Committee joined the teaching staff and nearly 900 students of Nguyen Binh Khiem High School in Nhon Trach district in the opening ceremony of the new school year.

Established and put into operation in 2012-2013 school year, the school had a high graduation rate of 100% in its first school year.

At the same time, over 1,383 students of Long Thanh High School attended the new school year opening ceremony.Attending the ceremony was Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh.

In the 2012-2013 academic year, the school had 100% students passing graduation exam  and 360/503 of its students passed the university entrance exams.

At the ceremony, 84 outstanding students of the school received scholarships worth VND500,000-1 million each.
