In the letter, the leader praised the great efforts made by teachers and students in the last academic year. The quality and management of education have seen positive progress and are continuing to improve.
The letter also stressed that this academic year would be the third time the country had implemented the 11th Party Central Committee's Congress resolutions on fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training to meet the demands of national industrialisation and modernisation in the context of developing a socialism-oriented market and global integration.
Accordingly, the education sector should continue reforms to provide comprehensive education, build a healthy educational environment and promote students’ creativity and innovation, orienting students towards fields in need of high quality human resources, aiming to build Dong Nai as province that will fundamentally complete the industrialisation and modernisation in 2015.
Nearly 584,000 students across the province started the 2013-2014 academic year this morning.
