Substandard water and food have been found causing food poisoning to 200 workers from the garment manufacturer Kotop Vina Company in Dong Nai province two weeks ago.
According to the provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Division report, water supplied to the company’s workers contained four toxic bacteria, including Clostridium perfrigens, Streptococus faecalis, Coliform, and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa which can cause diarrhoea.
The company was requested to close its kitchen and stop using its source of drinking water.
