(ĐN)- On August 22, a meeting was held at Dong Nai University to review the 2013 Green Summer Campaign, which runs from June 1 to August 20.

This year’s campaign attracted around 3,000 young people across the province.
During the campaign, volunteers participated in social welfare works including organizing summer training courses for children, upgrading 70 km of rural traffic roads, dredged 150 km of canals, planting 500 trees, publicizing to raise people's awareness of environmental protection and diseases prevention.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Vy Van Vu of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee highly praised efforts made by youth members to help improve the lives of thousands of residents in rural and remote areas and contribute to the province’s construction and development.

On this occasion, 19 units and 20 individuals received certificates of merit from the provincial Youth Union for their contributions to the campaign.
