(ĐN)- Over the past six months of the year, Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association carried out a number of humanitarian programmes worth more than VND50 billion.
Particularly, the association visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged beneficiaries, provided free healthcare and eye surgeries to poor people and elderly people, built and handed over 120 houses and a bridge.
Besides, the association mobilized over 16,000 units of blood in this period, fulfilling 64% of the year’s target.
