(ĐN)- Over the first six months of the year, Vinh Cuu district’s Study Promotion Association and its agencies mobilized more than VND3.6 billion to help students with difficult circumstances.
Besides, the association raised approximately VND300 million for study encouragement fund by mobilizing locals to put money in their clay pigs.
The money was used to award nearly 2,000 scholarships for studious poor students, present 38 bicycles and thousands of sets of books and notebooks to disadvantaged students.
