Over the past five years, the province spent more than VND2.4 trillion to upgrade and build about 1,100 km of rural traffic roads. Of the total, over VND957 billion came from state budget, nearly VND211 billion from local people.
In 2013-2015 period, Dong Nai will invest around VND4,800 billion for rural traffic projects.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee asked localities to continue its efforts to encourage local organizations and people to participate in rural traffic projects.
On this occasion, 29 collectives received certificates of merit for their contribution to rural traffic socialization.
