Over 22,000 of them were approved to receive monthly unemployment relief totaling more than VND115 billion.
Most of the workers have been recommended new jobs and supported to take free-of-charge vocational courses.
Director of Dong Nai Employment Service Center Huynh Ngoc Long forecasted that the number of unemployment-insurance applicants will see a gradual decrease in the remaining half of the year and sharp increase in first half of next year.
