(ĐN)- On June 26, the Red Cross Associations of six provinces in Southeast region jointly held a meeting in Dong Nai to review their activities in the first half of this year.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee attended the meeting.
Over the past six months, the associations have raised nearly VND200 billion for socio-charity activities, coordinated with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre to organize blood donation programs and collected more than 41,000 blood units.
Especially, Dong Nai provincial Red Cross Association has mobilized 45 people to donate bodies for medical science after deaths.
