In 2013, 980 scholarships will be presented to primary students in 63 provinces and cities by the “Vinamilk – Nurturing Vietnam Young Talents” scholarship fund.
The scholarship fund is created by theVietnam dairy products joint stock company (Vinamilk) and the Ministry of Education and Training.
The criteria for scholarship winners aregood students; students with outstanding achievements or gaining high prizes in contests, culture, sports and art exchanges at provincial/ municipal, national or regional levels; disabled students, poor students and students in difficult circumstances with high prizes in contests or exchanges.
The scholarship is also given to students with good behaviours such as bravery in rescuing people in danger; helping their friends in particularly difficult circumstances; students having good initiatives in learning, training and in the building movement of "friendly schools, active students".
The education and training organizations offer scholarships to students in provinces and cities in the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year. Each scholarship is worth VND1 million.
