At the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Cao Cuong of the provincial Youth Association called on everyone to act against food waste and minimize negative impact to the environment via food consumption.
He also stressed that the youth members must be pioneers in protecting the environment that has been affected by the human being.
Vice Chairman Pham Anh Dung of Bien Hoa city People’s Committee urged people to engage in activities to make the city cleaner and more beautiful to mark 20 years of the recognition of the city as type-2 urban area (1993-2013).

Themed “Think - Eat – Save and Do something for a green and better world”, this year’s World Environment Day encourages the people to minimise impacts on the environment, ranging from production to consumption.
