Of the total, nearly 29,000 labourers have been employed by enterprises, while the others gained jobs through socio-economic programs.
Foreign-invested enterprises have strong demand for unskilled labourers, electric technical workers and those working in maintaining industrial machines, garment, footwear and electronic assemblies.
Over the first five months of 2013, the provincial vocational training and job introduction centre have recruited 23,144 labourers for vocational training to satisfy enterprises’ demand for labourers.
In 2013, VND20 billion will be used to provide vocational training to rural labourers, contributing to help them get jobs.
From 2010 to 2012, the province spent VND82.5 billion training labourers for chicken breeding and food processing, industrial and civil garment, handicraft weaving, safe vegetable planting, wood processing and craft industry.
