(ĐN)- Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on June 18 had a working session with leaders of Japan’s Sojitz Corporation.
At the working session, the Sojitz Corp’s leaders reported the progress of some projects in Dong Nai and pledged to award US$30,000 worth of 150 scholarships to studious poor students in Long Thanh district and Bien Hoa city in August.
The scholarships are funded by Japan Vietnam Fertilizer Company, Long Binh Techno Park Development Co. and Long Duc Investment Co. Ltd.
Last year, Sojitz also presented scholarships to 93 disadvantaged students in Long Thanh district.
