This year, the province also targets to reduce the unemployment rate in urban areas to 2.54%, increase the employment of rural labourers to 90.5%, pull 9,500 families out of poverty, and reduce the poverty rate to 2% by 2013.
Each year, on average, the province creates jobs for 85,000-92,000 labourers, including 65,000 working in industrial zones.
Thanks to the program on training technical labourers to serve socio-economic development in 2006-2010 and a vision to 2020, among 2.1 million labourers working in economic sectors, 50% have been trained. The training has helped to increase the quality of labourers, contributing to reducing the rate of labourers working in the agricultural sector to under 20%.
