Recently, Staff Assistant to U.S. Senate paid a working visit to survey and evaluate Agent Orange /dioxin contamination and caring for the Agent Orange victims in Dong Nai.
Dong Nai provincial leaders and representatives of 935 Regiment warmly received the Staff Assistant to U.S. Senate. The two sides discussed and clarified the issues related to Agent Orange /dioxin consequences and solutions.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Tuyen, Political Commissar of 935 Regiment presented the current status of the heavily contaminated area in Bien Hoa airport and remedial measures over last few years. At the meeting, representatives of the province proposed the U.S. government to have policies to conduct surveys of Agent Orange /dioxin victims and assist funding to build rehabilitation center in Bien Hoa and funding for victims’ families to ensure their lives.
