Compared to the same period last year, cases of traffic accident decreased by 59, the death fell by 9 and the injured reduced by 103.
The province reported a rise of fatal accidents with 15 accidents causing 22 deaths, showing an increase of 11 accidents and 15 deaths when compared to the same period last year.
The highest increase of deaths saw in Trang Bom, Thong Nhat districts and National Highway 20. In Trang Bom district alone, 3 people were killed by railway accidents, accounting of 60% of the total deaths by train crashes in the province.
