In 2012, Dong Nai Police’s Entrepreneurs Fund for Public Security mobilized 2.618 billion from 45 entrepreneurs and enterprises to provide preferential loans totaling VND2.56 billion to 134 released prisoners in the locality.
Since its establishment in 2010, the Fund disbursed approximately VND7 billion for 220 beneficiaries across the province.
In the coming time, the fund will continue to mobilize donations from enterprises and individuals to help released prisoners develop household economy and stabilize their lives.
On this occasion, the sponsors pledged to donate nearly VND3 billion to the Fund.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai praised some entrepreneurs and enterprises for their contributions to the fund.
