(ĐN)- On March 12, Dong Nai health sector’s trade union organized a meeting to review its activities in 2012.
Accordingly, the sector raised around VND1.5 billion in 2012 from its members to help local needy people, children with difficult circumstances, AO/dioxin victims and poor students.
Moreover, the sector offered free medical check-ups and medicines to disadvantaged people inside and outside the province, presented cows for underprivileged families, built charity houses, took care of heroic mothers and war invalids, provided free meals to poor patients, and launched humanitarian blood donation programs.
On this occasion, many individuals and collectives received certificates of merit for their contributions in trade union activities.
