On the same day, the provincial Young Journalist’s Club and some sponsors visited and presented gifts to poor students in Tan Phu district’s Ta Lai commune.
The gifts totaling over VND20 million included nearly 5,000 notebooks,10 cartons of fresh milk.
The delegation also offered free haircut to the students.
Earlier, the People's Public Security Newspaper in cooperation with the provincial Police Department gave gifts to 44 disadvantaged teachers and students of Ma Da junior high school in Vinh Cuu district.
On this occasion, the delegation funded VND77 million to help the school's poor teachers and students .
