(ĐN) – Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee, on March 21, organized a ceremony in response to the 15th National Week on Labor Safety and Hygiene, and Fire and Explosion Control.
With the theme “Promoting labor safety culture and measures to prevent industrial accidents, occupational diseases and fires at work”, this year’s event will run until March 23.

On this occasion, the province will enhance propaganda activities to raise public awareness of fire prevention and make plans for fire control at the industrial parks, markets, trade centers, residential areas and vocational villages.
The province will also send inspection delegations to check fire prevention activities at some companies operating in the construction, mining, mechanical and assembling sectors.
In 2012, some 1,624 labor accidents occurred in Dong Nai, killing 27 people and injuring 1,658 others.
At the ceremony, TPC Vina Plastic & Chemical Co. Ltd. (TPC Vina) in Go Dau industrial park received Emulation Flag of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
