Foreign direct-invested companies operating in Dong Nai province need about 116,000 workers from now to 2015. Fifty-five percent of them must have some vocational training, the province’s Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has said.

Other private companies in the province need about 38,000 people for the same time period. At least 45 percent of them should be graduates of vocational-training schools.

For many years, companies have had to seek workers outside the province because of high demand for skilled or semi-skilled employees.
