(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Study Promotion Association on January 30 reviewed its activities in 2012 and work out plans to implement 2013.
Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Bui Ngoc Thanh highly appreciated the association’s efforts made in study encouragement activities and its contributions to build a learning society in the province.
In 2012, the association raised more than VND67 billion from individual donors and social organizations for study encouragement, VND17 billion higher than that of previous year. Accordingly, the fund rewarded and assisted over 589,000 poor students and teachers, helped 82,000 others to continue their study.
