(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Department of Transportation on January 5 commenced construction to upgrade Provincial Road 769 .
The 33-kilometer road from Dau Giay T-junction in Thong Nhat district to Highway 51 in Long Thanh district is the final part of the 210-kilometer bauxite route running from Tan Rai Alumina Plant in Lam Dong to Go Dau Port.
The project of road and bridge upgrade with the total expenditure of over VND300 billion was funded by Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group.
The upgrade of this road is expected for completion within 6 months. The Provincial Road 769 is an important route linking Highway 20 with Highway 51, contributing to the province's socio-economics development.
At the ceremony, the province’s leader suggested local departments and related sectors work closely to complete the project in time.
