(ĐN)- More than VND7.6 billion was raised to assist AO/dioxin victims last year, Dong Nai Association of AO/dioxin victims reported at the meeting to review its activities in 2012.
The money was used to build and repair 33 compassionate houses, provide financial supports to poor victims to develop household economy, award 242 scholarships, offer free medical check-ups and medicine, present gifts and wheelchairs to the victims.
In 2013, the association will continue its efforts to mobilize over VND6.5 billion to help AO/dioxin victims with difficult circumtances
