(ĐN)- A ceremony was held on January 8 to hand over five charity houses to poor households in Xuan Loc district’s Xuan Bac commune. The ceremony was attended by Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Bui Ngoc Thanh.
The houses, each covering an area of 32-60 sq.m, are built at a total cost of VND185 million. Of the total, the Mass Mobilisation Department raised VND125 million from sponsors, the remaining was contributed by the families.
On January 9, Dong Nai branch of Agribank also presented two compassionate houses to difficult families in Vinh Cuu district’s Vinh An town. Accordingly, the branch donated VND40 million to build the houses.
