(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs’ report on Tet bonuses at more than 400 companies shows that FDI companies are taking the lead in Tet bonuses.

Particularly, the highest and lowest Tet bonuses from the province-based FDI enterprises will be VND650 million and VND2 million per capita respectively.

Meanwhile, the highest, lowest and average rates at local State-run businesses hit VND44 million, VND4 million and VND1.8 million per capita respectively. With regard to private enterprises, the maximum bonus will be VND60 million, and minimum VND1.6 million per capita.

Tet bonuses this year were not worth much more than last year due to inflation. However, it is a great effort of businesses in such a turbulent economic context.

Some companies said they faced difficulties in their business and may not pay Tet bonuses for their laborers. Many others, mostly who are in debt, or newly-established firms, are in the same boat.
