During the two-day meeting, the delegates approved major targets for the next term. Accordingly, the union and its agencies will increase its new members to 150,000 and new grassroot-level unions to 350.
The congress elected a 15-member standing board for the 2013-2018 tenure. It laso selected 28 delegates who will attend the 11th congress of the National Labor Union.
Mr. Huynh Tan Kiet was re-elected chairman, and 5 members named vice chairman of the union.
