Cathay Life Insurance Vietnam Co. Ltd. last week granted 52 scholarships worth VND636 million to students in Hanoi, HCMC, Danang, Can Tho and Dong Nai.
Cathay Life Insurance Vietnam Co. Ltd. last week granted 52 scholarships worth VND636 million to students in Hanoi, HCMC, Danang, Can Tho and Dong Nai.
The scholarships worth from VND12 million to VND15 million each were given to students from 11 universities including Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi Laws University, Hanoi University, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, HCMC University of Laws, University of Economics, Banking University, Vietnam National University – HCMC, Danang University, Can Tho University and Dong Nai University.
“We do hope our scholarships will be a motivation for students to try their best to become talented people for the country,” said Stanlee Lee, general director of Cathay Life Insurance Vietnam Co. Ltd., at the ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in HCMC’s District 1.
The scholarship program has been carried out since 2007 and students nationwide have received scholarships worth over VND2 billion.
