(ĐN)- On December 11, Xuan Loc district’s Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to hand over 130 charity houses to local poor people. The houses are built at a total cost of VND5.5 billion, of which Vietinbank donated VND2.6 billion, the remaining was funded by local budget and other sources. Since the beginning of the year, Xuan Loc district built 240 houses for poor households.
Earlier, Dinh Quan district also presented 171 compassionate houses totaling over VND6.6 billion to local households facing housing difficulties. Of the total, Vietinbank financed VND3.42 billion. Since early of this year, Dinh Quan district raised more than VND9.8 billion to build 274 houses.
