A 44-year-old man has been arrested in Dong Nai province for allegedly killing his wife and dumping her body in a well after suspecting she was having an affair.
The police arrested Nguyen Van Binh of Phu Vinh commune, Dinh Quan district, Saturday after some local farmers had found the body of his wife Nguyen thi Giang, 41, in a well at a local coffee plantation a day earlier.
Binh confessed to the crime, saying he suspected that his wife was having an affair with some man.
He had hit her repeatedly on the head with a wooden pole and thrown her body in the well.
