(ĐN)- State President Truong Tan Sang signed a decision to confer the title of Meritorious Teacher and People's Teacher on 610 teachers.
Accordingly, 40 teachers will be granted the title of People’s Teacher and 570 will be awarded the title of Meritorious Teacher for their great contribution to the cause of national education.
Among the recipients are 17 teachers from Dong Nai province. Particularly, Headmaster Tran Anh Dung of Luong The Vinh high school and Headmaster Do Huu Tai of Lac Hong university have been recognized as People’s Teachers and 15 as Meritorious Teachers.
Dung and Tai are the first teachers of Dong Nai to receive the noble title.
